LickiMat Slomo

The Licki Mat Slomo is a fantastic slow feeder option for your dog or cat. You can spread your pet's Raw & Fresh food across the slow feeder plate to get the benefits at meal time.

The LickiMat Slomo has been designed with no annoying lumps and mazes to navigate, which makes the Slomo ideal for flat nose breeds, like French Bulldogs.

Benefits of Using The LickiMat Slomo

Why use a slow feeder?

With a delicious Raw & Fresh meal in front of our pets they can get excited causing them to eat quickly. Fast eating leads to your pet ingesting a higher volume of air which can cause issues.

With more air being ingested at meal time it has to come out somewhere and we all know a silent but deadly fart from one of our furry friends is never pleasant to be around. There is also a greater risk of your pet suffering from bloat which increases the risk of gastric dilatation and volvulus (flipping of the stomach). Slower feeding has been shown to reduce the risk of GDV.

Reduces Anxiety & Boredom

A LickiMat Slomo helps calm and soothe your pet as they enjoy their favourite treat by helping release endorphins through the promotion of licking. Great for when you leave home, great for stressful times such vet visits, injections, bath time, nail clipping, injury recovery as well as thunderstorms and fireworks.

Promotes Improved Dental Health

The LickiMat Slomo surfaces promote pleasurable licking for both dogs and cats. The licking action generates saliva that helps protect your pet’s teeth and gums, and can aid digestion as saliva contains enzymes such as Amylase. The natural rubber surface also scrapes food particles and odour causing bacteria off your pet’s tongue, promoting fresher breath.
