LickiMat Wobble Bowl
Category: Feeding Accessories
The LickiMat Wobble Bowl for dogs works well as a slow feeder when using Raw & Fresh food. It is the only food bowl around made from natural plant-based rubber. The wobbling action is more engaging as it takes the dog longer to eat.
LickiMat is recommended by vets, dog trainers and animal behaviorists worldwide. Used correctly, LickiMat wobble bowl for dogs is the perfect training aid, a stress and anxiety reliever, a slow feeder, a healthy distractor, a breath freshener and provide your dog with fun and enrichment.
Our favourite recipe is spreading a Raw & Fresh Yoghurt inside the bowl and then sprinkling pieces of Raw & Fresh Dehydrated Beef Liver treats in the yoghurt before freezing. This makes a great cool and refreshing boredom buster!
Benefits of Using The LickiMat Wobble Bowl For Dogs
Why use a slow feeder?
With a delicious Raw & Fresh meal in front of our pets they can get excited causing them to eat quickly. Fast eating leads to your pet ingesting a higher volume of air which can cause issues.
With more air being ingested at meal time it has to come out somewhere and we all know a silent but deadly fart from one of our furry friends is never pleasant to be around. There is also a greater risk of your pet suffering from bloat which increases the risk of gastric dilatation and volvulus (flipping of the stomach). Slower feeding has been shown to reduce the risk of GDV.
Reduces Anxiety & Boredom
A LickiMat Wobble helps calm and soothe your pet as they enjoy their favourite treat by helping release endorphins through the promotion of licking. A bowl to slow dog eating is great for when you leave home, great for stressful times such vet visits, injections, bath time, nail clipping, injury recovery as well as thunderstorms and fireworks.
Promotes Improved Dental Health
The LickiMat Wobble surfaces promote pleasurable licking for both dogs and cats. The licking action generates saliva that helps protect your pet’s teeth and gums, and can aid digestion as saliva contains enzymes such as Amylase. The natural rubber surface also scrapes food particles and odour causing bacteria off your pet’s tongue, promoting fresher breath.
